Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a new theatre company. From 2014 until her appointment in 2019, she was artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company. As the artistic director of SSC, she was the company's composer/musician/text coach as well as costume/set/music design. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the ensemble but in this last year made her directorial debut. Markie Post......................Markie Post is a noted American actress known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBC's sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABC's drama series The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBS's sitcom Hearts Afire. The other roles she has played include a series of game show appearances. She is the daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised with two of her brothers within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School is where she was a student and took part in cheerleading. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then graduated from Lewis & Clark College, both located in Oregon. The previous marriage she had was to Stephen Knox. The couple has been together from 1982 on to Michael A. Ross, who is a writer and actor with whom she shares two daughters. Post's role as a great actor, wife and mother is admired by many.
